No matter how discouraged I would get through my challenging and hectic year, the family that I have in this program was absolutely ALWAYS there to encourage me in everything I did. I was never asked to change, but simply asked to strive to be the best I can be. Because of this program, because of the team behind it, and because of my year as Miss Tri-Cities I not only succeeded in being the best that I can be, but I transformed from a girl to a woman.
