Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, Inc. has been organized to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement of our nation’s youth.

Funds raised by the Miss Bristol Pageant and the Bristol's Outstanding Teen Pageant will be used to support the mission of SO REAL and help end the cycle of teen violence. All proceeds go directly to SO REAL. 

Bristol's Outstanding Teen Pageant is slated to be held in late spring 2008. We are looking for amazing young women who want an opportunity to earn scholarship money and become a positive role model for others in our area. Competition rules and areas of competition.
Contestants for the title of Bristol's Outstanding Teen and Bristol's Outstanding Teen Princess must be female students between the ages of 13 and 17 who have not yet graduated high school and currently reside, attend school or work full-time in a Northeast Tennessee county. To compete in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen program, you need commitment, perseverance, talent and ambition. The pageant will encourage and reward community service, talent and academic acheivement.

Outstanding Teen Areas of Competition:
Interview - 30%
Talent - 35% (No loner than 2 min)
Evening Gown - 15%
Fitness Wear - 10% 
On Stage Question - 5%
Scholastic Competition - 5%

Outstanding Teen Princess Areas of Competition:
Interview - 30%
Evening Gown - 15%
Fitness Wear - 10%
Composite - 45%
