The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and  local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance.

This preliminary pageant is sponsored by SO REAL, a non-profit organization striving to end the cycle of teen violence. All proceeds from ticket and ad sales will support their mission as well as provide funding for contestant awards and scholarships. Miss Bristol will compete in the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant next June in Jackson, TN.  Miss Tennessee  will then represent the Volunteer State at Miss America the following January.
