Bethany Stout
My story begins on May 22, 1995. My wonderful parents are Billy and Tina Stout. I have two older brothers, Shane who is twenty five and Brandon, who is twenty two, and I am the baby! I love my family with all of my heart and I am a firm believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am a sophomore at Madison Academic High School and my passion is dance. I am starting my eleventh year of dance and I plan to do it as a career in some form. I dance five day a week so dance would be my sport, but I love watching football! Plus I am a volunteered for some classes at my studio. I am interested in a lot of things to do as a career, but my main three things that I want to major in is Broadcast/Journalism, to have a career in fashion, and to major in dance of course.
I started my pageant career after I did my high school pageant. I didn't win but I had so much fun doing it I decided find a pageant coach and do state prelims! My wonderful coach is Janet Richardson and I love her so much! Pageants are such a wonderful experience and making new friends is my most favorite part while doing them. My platform is "Bringing Dance to Every Child." Since dance is my passion and it brings so much joy into my life I think under- privilege and special needs children would enjoy doing it. The most important aspect of my platform is that dance is a therapy for children and I believe it builds self confidence and self-esteem that children need.
One interesting thing about me is that I sponsor a child through Compassion International. Her name is Tatiana Hernandez; she is six years old and lives in El Salvador. She writes me letters all the time just saying how her day is going and what she has bought with the money that I have sent to her and her family. It is a wonderful organization to be apart of and I try to encourage people to become apart of this special program. I would love to meet Tatiana one day!
I am so honored to be Miss Mountain Lakes Outstanding Teen and can't wait to represent Bristol at Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen!
Oh, by the way my name is Bethany. :)
